Where in the World are the SCP Authors?

WHERE IN THE WORLD ARE THE SCP AUTHORS?

When my girls were growing up, one of our favorite past-times was "Where in the World is Carmen San Diego?", an educational computer game that sent players on a quest to track down a felon and recover a stolen artifact. I don't remember much about the game except that you visited different locations -- one was a library -- to find clues. You then followed the clues to a new city. If you were on the right track, a little pop-up would let you know you were getting closer. The clues were all based on geography, so kids learned as they played. What a concept!

Today, readers playing our game are also on a quest. Although the Secret Cravings Publishing authors haven't stolen any historical artifacts (at least, none of which I'm aware) tracking us down can still mean rewards for YOU.

You've come to the right location for clues to my whereabouts!

I live in a small town, so I won't ask you to guess which town it is. All you have to do is guess the state in which I live. Don't worry, it's easy.

In fact, to win a copy of Irresistible, my July 2012 release from Secret Cravings, all you need to do is leave a comment below with your guess. Doesn't matter if you're right or not, everyone who plays gets a chance to win.

Here are a few clues for you!

1. I live in what's called "the heartland" -- perfect for a romance writer.

2. President Harry S Truman grew up on a farm not far from here.

3. Notorious outlaw Jesse James was born in my state. So was Cole Younger.

There you go! Winner will be drawn at the close of the contest and announced on Monday morning. Good luck.

And don't forget to visit Secret Cravings Publishing! You'll find Irresistible there, along with books by all your favorite SCP romance authors!
